I know from now on i keep a reliable phone on me. If i didn't have that phone i don't know what i would've done. Luckily i had the V50 in my glove box so i swapped out sims and made the call to AAA. They just updated the v60 to Android 11 and LG's v60 has ROOT capabilities so unofficial OS upgrades are possible. LG's phones are known for having impeccable audio which is what the V-series come with. LG did quit the phone game but there phones don't just quit either. I just found the LGv60 for $350 brand new, so bought 2. Regardless its not all about the SOC, its what you do with it. Once you hit about 6TFLOPs, the 100% scale drops off. The near 300MHz overclock on the 660 gives it a perfect 1to1 scale of 300GFLOPs.
The 5nm node shrink and memory bandwidth is enough to gain the other 200GFLOPS. That's why the Adreno 660 at 840-870MHz scales performance up to almost a half a TFLOP (500GFlops) of FP32 compute. In mobile the GPU and CPU scale almost perfectly. Heck the Adreno 630 (512ALU's) is still a viable GPU. From what I've tested the Adreno 650 which has the same 1,024 ALU's runs at an even 1TFLOP of FP32 compute sustainable, which is more then enough for anything. The 660 is just overclocked almost 300MHz and running on 5nm. The Adreno 650 and 660 is the same exact GPU. The only other difference is the A78 ARM cores and the single X1 main core. The SD888 has boosted AI at 26TOPS while the SD865 is at 14TOPS.
